Ontario Access Grant
When is it being issued? The OSAP website says the 16th... mine hasn't even been released yet. How tentative are these dates?
Getting impatient, I need that money. >_____>

Yeah the date of the 16th is when they release it, fom there it can take any where from 5-15 days to get mailed to you. Be patient, I think we all need the money!!!

It's not even released for me, is what I mean. Checked both the OSAP and mugsi. The amount is still under "Aid to be released"

Keep checking the release date. My grant was originally being released January 16th, then it got pushed back to February 17th, and I just checked right now and it says February 27th.

I have the same thing as MeganB214 which is kinda ridiculous cause it should be released once all your funding papers have been signed and processed. I contacted the financial office at Mac and they said it should be given to me by the end of January and if not I should call the NSLC (or something) but it just confuses me why the date says Feb 27. I didn't have a problem with it last year so I don't know what's up with it this year. Hopefully everything gets sorted out.

same... i was told when i picked up my osap that although release starts on the 16th it doesnt really go through til osap verifies everything with mac and whatnot... so it may take a while for it to come in mail/bank account

log in to your osap account and check your funding... it should say "aid to be released" with the type of aid/amount/date of release/method of release

I totally cant remember anything about this grant... Is it part of our OSAP that we have to sign for to get released to us, or is it an additional cheque that we get in the mail? (like the textbook grant)

Mine doesn't even have a date anymore, it used to say January 16th, now its just blank.
Argh, I don't want added interest because of this bull!

Anddddddddddd now I have no date at all. Awesome.
It's part of our osap. Except that for some reason, it's being released at a later date. If you picked up osap, you should have been given the option of filling out your banking info to have it directly deposited to your account. Otherwise, mail for you.

Um, yeah every penny of OSAP I've received has gone to Mac.... So I'm assuming I probably signed my right to that away then I guess unless I randomly get a cheque in the mail |
