Origins 2FF3 and Music 2II3?
Can anyone give me an idea of the ease and work load for these two courses?

Also, could anyone suggest some easy (as in bird course easy!) 2nd year electives to take?

I took music 2ii3 this past semester and I really enjoyed it. There are 2 midterms (25% each) and the exam (50%). The multiple choice can be tricky, but all in all its a pretty easy course. The midterms even have listening example questions, where the prof plays a song and you have to answer questions about it.

Origins 2FF3 is an awesome class and I would highly recommend it. There are a few project assignments and a 'take-home' type exam.

when I took it (2007), it wasn't difficult but it took awhile to find all of the answers... but it actually was fun to do..
