Origins Public Lecture Series

Origins Public Lecture - Wednesday, October 15th

Each year, the Origins Institute organizes a few lectures where top scientists are invited in to participate in a forum on some of the most exciting topics currently being studied in Science.

This Wednesday at 8PM in BSB 147 will feature Dr. Tom Abel, a particle physicist and astrophysicist, who will be giving a talk titled Cosmic Dawn: The First Star in the Universe.

Sounds a bit sciencey, eh? The beauty about these lectures is that these lectures are directed towards an open audience and assumes no background knowledge in the subject. You do not have to be a Scientific researcher or even a student in Science to enjoy these lectures... and there will likely be really good cookies available.

So, if you're interested in exploring into different subjects and maybe expanding on your understanding of the origins of our universe, this is definitely something to check out!

Check out this page for more detail about Wednesday's talk.
