Really like it so far, gonna have to get used to the unified search bad in Safari though

The Dictation feature is actually decently accurate.

My computer is too old to handle the airplay mirroring :\, gonna try and steal my sisters macbook this weekend and try it This is the best new feature imo, I wont need my 25 ft hdmi cable running across the room now xD

So is everyone else liking it? I'm hesitant to upgrade since I don't have FB and Twitter seeing how there is integration of FB at least in Mountain Lion.

Apple seems to be attempting to eliminate the 'finder' feature ever since Lion

You actually dont notice any of the FB and Twitter integration unless you enable it. Also I think they delayed FB integration untill Fall.

I feel like they have done a lot of 'under the hood' enhancements as well.

Are you implying that it is faster than Lion? If so, could you compare the speed to Snow Leopard (I never used it though..but heard it was the best Mac OS X version out there to date ).

Haha yes, it deff feels faster. Not on par with Snow Leopard but close.

Also just a warning, right after install and restart your computers might feel really slow! But just leave it for a bit. OS X is just reindexing everything.

Is it recommended to do a clean install...or just upgrading? I really don't want to install all of my apps again and transfer my data to an external hdd and then to my hdd on my laptop.

Did you guys backup your files before the upgrade?

I forgot my external hdd in Hamilton and I don't feel like driving all the way there to get it so would it be okay to do the upgrade without backing everything up or is that too risky?

I remember I upgraded my desktop Mac to Snow Leopard and everything was fine

Yeah just do an upgrade, you should have no reason to do a clean install.
