So for OSAP can you make payments along they way while you are in school to the money that is given to you so that u reduce the amount of money u have to pay at the end?

Yes, you can pay off your loan while in school. Once your studies are finished, you have 6 months to sign up for school again (full course load) or interest will start to accrue.

I would suggest that instead of paying it off, put them money away in a high interest bank account. There is no interest on OSAP until you graduate or leave university for any reason, so paying it off right now isn't beneficial.
