OSAP and bad credit
Alright, so a close friend of mine got denied for OSAP apparently due to her bad credit. The thing that got me worried because i too have bad credit and i will be needing OSAP next year since im running low on my savings. If anyone has information regarding eligibility for osap and your personal credit score please share it with me because im way too worried.

I don't understand how they could decline you based on bad credit.

OSAP loans are zero risk for OSAP, because you can never get rid of them, even if you declare bankruptcy (unlike 100% of all other loans/debts). They will get the money back from you one way or another once you have an income.

Are you sure it wasn't another reason?

Come out to the OUSA Town Hall on OSAP tomorrow in 1280 at 1pm. People will be there to hear all of your concerns and answer your questions about OSAP.
