Osap and payment agreement options
Hey I can pay my full tuition in september by osap, but on the payment option says payment in full is due by september 1st. However, I won't be getting my osap until mid-september. I was wondering if I will be charged with any fees. Late fees? flex plan account fees?

Also, if there is money left after my tuition is deducted from osap, will it go to my bank account?

Sorry, I'm really confused! :(

if you check your payment agreement there's an option for "OSAP flex plan". basically it's tailored to the osap release schedule so whenever OSAP is released, MAC get their money.

I saw the flex plan but I want to pay my tuition in full because I dont want to pay for interest. I was juz wondering if I will be charged late fees since they kno I'm using osap in order to pay for it.

I know that OSAP is changing this year, I'm pretty sure it's all direct deposit without that annoying line up. But that's just a heads up - things might be a little different this year then previoiusly known.

if u select osap with payment in full you will not get late fees as long as you pay before sept 1st and you selected that option that will allow osap to go directly to school (it was on osap application form).

The moment you go flex you pay "more" overall since it is split up. If you want to avoid ANY extra dollars leaving your pocket just try to pay in full. Else use the Osap flex plan.

All you have to do is check OSAP as a payment option and check that you want to pay in full. Your payment agreement will then tell you how much OSAP will deduct from your tuition and what you will have to pay by September 1st (if OSAP doesn't cover your entire tuition). If your OSAP entitlement isn't showing up, you have to allow more time for it to process. As long as you submitted everything by July 15th, it'll show up for sure before payment is due.

Thanks Jeremy! So if the payment I need to make after my tuition is deducted from osap is equal to zero then I don't need to make any payment by september 1st?

That is correct. No matter what you choose in the end, you just have to follow the payment schedule they provide you with the exception that you can always pay more than whatever the schedule says in order to minimize interest.

As long as you pay according to your payment schedule you will not be charged late fees. If your payment schedule says you have to pay 0$ by Sept 1st, then you won't be charged late fees since you don't have to pay.
