Payment Agreement/ OSAP
If I choose to pay in full for my payment agreement, but I end up getting money from OSAP, what happens? Does the school refund the amount of money I receive from OSAP, orrr how does that work? Thanks

If you choose OSAP as a payment option, your first instalment is deducted from what you have to pay (When you pick it up you have to have it sent to McMaster) and your second instalment will go straight to you.

You have to have it confirmed by August 9th so that SOLAR can open for you on time. However, you can change it again after that but you don't have to if you select OSAP as a payment option to begin with

So am I not guaranteed my selected courses until I complete the payment agreement?

I don't know if you can select it... but either way when you get your entitlement finalized you have to re-confirm your payment agreement.

I'm not sure when you get kicked out of your courses... It's possibly in August. I don't see why don't want to confirm your payment agreement though.

No, it just determines when SOLAR re-opens for you, August 10th or August 15th.

You can still select it. Apply by July 15th (I think this is the deadline).

Yeah, that's the deadline to apply to OSAP so that it appears on your payment agreement.

The email that you're referring to is directly from OSAP, after your estimate has been calculated.

If an OSAP amount shows up on your PA that means you're pretty much all set. But just check every once in a while to make sure nothing's changed.
