OSAP on hold - how will it affect me?
My OSAP was on hold ever since June 20th 2009.

I have sent in all my documents needed to correct the incorrect info on my OSAP application, but my application is still on hold.

How long does it usually take for the financial aid office to correct our osap applications?

im getting worried b/c the Queen Elizabeth scholarship's deadline is July 22nd 2009, and my OSAP has to be completed by then.

Also, how would I fill out my payment agreement if my OSAP is on hold? Can I still fill out full payment?

Any help would be appreciated!

I am unsure of how long it will take. It's been a while now and I would suggest calling the Financial Aid office (Ext. 24319). You can call right now, they close at 4pm.

You should confirm your PA now, you can always re-confirm is later when OSAP is available or if anything else changes.

Hi Kevin,
You can actually submit your OSAP application 3 weeks before your study period begins so I wouldn't worry too much - in terms of OSAP itself, you have a good amount of time left.
My application was on hold for a lengthy period of time as well, about 3 weeks. If I were you, like Jeremy mentioned above me, I'd call them up right now (905 525 9140; ext. 24319). You'll be on hold for a while but they'll definitely straighten everything out. They datemark each document when they received it, so let's say your document was received by July 15th but somebody doesn't open it until later, it shouldn't affect your funding because you sent it in on time.
Best of luck and if there's anything else I can help with, I'd be glad to

I'm not sure about how long it will take... but you still have time in regards to your payment agreement. I have "pending" beside my OSAP on the payment agreement.

It took me 3-5 weeks for me to get the osap once I just applied. Pending, probably they are reviewing your status, parents tax return, etc.
