I mean that some of the admins make articles where they just copy and paste the emails that everyone at McMaster gets.

It's not a bad thing per se, since this can be useful for people who don't check their MUSS emails (especially if they're in first year or they haven't set up forwarding their email to their primary email account).

but it's kinda tacky imo. lol, like tell me something I don't know.

Not all students get emails from the university (I don't for whatever reason and I haven't for years), and not all students read the emails if they get them.

MacInsiders provides a bunch of information in one place, so students don't have to look in multiple different places (several websites, email etc) to find what they need.

Yeah... most people I know don't check their McMaster e-mail, especially not during summer.

Nope, it'll go one for a week or two after September 1st. But pick it up as soon as you can.

Yeah, it usually takes a week after you pick up your OSAP for it to process and the money goes through, so sooner the better.

Is Sept 1 the last day to pay for school? And if it is, do they just take it out of your OSAP, even if you haven't picked up your OSAP yet? I ask because I can't come to Hamilton any earlier than Sept 2, and more realistically Sept 5, and I don't want to be late paying.

Payments are due that day, but it's not the last day. However interest/late fees would start to accrue.

Pay by cheque and mail it?

If you checked OSAP as a funding option, your tuition is already reduced by 60% of your OSAP. So if you are paying in full, sept 1st is when you pay the balance stated in your PA. When you pick up OSAP, it will go toward McMaster.

The second pick-up will go to your bank since you paid in full. (If you are paying in full).

Basically whatever payment option you choose, whether it's in full or instalments, just pay the balance stated on your payment agreement.

Interest does not start until September finishes. The late fee is some trivial amount. I think like 15 bucks.
