Oscar/Co-Op Application Times
Hey
So just a random question about how the application process works.
I am applying for Co-op jobs right now. I am just curious if the Companies are able to see what time we submit our applications?
Thanks
Rioch

Now sure about times but its kinda late now, the hiring period is already over for some departments. In terms of 1st offers, people got hired in mid feb.

Nope, they don't. The deadlines are set by the co-op office and then once the deadline is reached, they collect all the files of all applicants and forward it to the employer the next morning (since most deadlines are at midnight).

If you're talking about OSCAR, the people who mostly deal with resumes/packages is different from your employer, and times aren't so much of an issue so much as submitting your resume to every-single-job-available-with-the-same-generic-cv/resume... my boss called it trolling/fishing
Why, you think an employer will think you're a creeper, submitting at 2am?

Lol pretty much. I spend a lot of time doing my work at night and have submitted a lot of resumes at 12-2am haha.
I actually rewrite most of my cover letter, tailored to the job, so not worried about that.
I just seem to be having bad luck.

Haha, at least that's a decent time. Most of my emails have been sent at 2-5am and not through OSCARplus, and it worked, so don't worry about the timing!
Our program has been having a hard time with jobs this year too, but don't stress! Just keep applying as much as you can!
