amazing troll topic, but i'll play along.
doubtful, but even if our browsing history is recorded, do you think mcmaster will ever admit that they are indeed doing it?
conspiracy theory: our government might be tracking it

Most of us have to log into Avenue at one point or another, but McMaster probably knows that already.

They have a record of your activity on avenue, doubtful that they track browsing history though...

Or, you know, just goes on /r/wtf and/or r/spacedicks sometimes out of a sick sense of curiosity. Crazy shit is sometimes intriguing not because of sexual arousal, but just because... it's crazy. I've been on some of Craig's List's sketchier sections, not because I was looking for someone to bang, but because holy shit some of those ads are funny and/or disturbing, and thus entertaining to read.

Mcmaster will have a browsing history of everything you do using their networks. The industry level network they have automatically logs all users usually. This is typically for legal purposes should criminal/civil legal action be taken against the university for internet activity including illegal downloading/uploading, child porn, hacking etc. With these logs they can point the authorities to the person logged in rather than themselves as the traceable IP owner. Do they look at these logs often? Probably not. But do not delude yourselves. If you have done something on a Mac network, they will have it recorded unless you have a properly set up an encrypted VPN.
I know this is a troll question but there are still people who just dont understand networks

Given that OP's username is "youdontknow" and his real names is "youwillnever", I would say he's already answered his own question...

The reason why is because I have a very bad habit of going through pages of comments on news sites (usually filled with racists, bigots, idiots) and replying and reprimanding people for it.
Though I admit I do like trolling sometimes.
