I've never heard of any. You could always get a security lock for your laptop. But really, I REALLY don't think your room-mates would lose* it or steal it for that matter.

I don't think there are any, but I understand your fear. I would suggest getting a lock. If you're really worried, you could also get yourself a little safe for your valuables. Here's one from Bed Bath & Beyond.

I wouldn't get a safe, as that is a big "STEAL ME" sign for anyone who would consider stealing. My friend just recently got a Mac and he got a lock for the laptop, to prevent it from theft. I would recommend this instead for the above reason, and it's probably much cheaper to get a lock for the laptop than a safe.

in my first year i bought a very small filing cabinet with a lock from staples for like 30.00 $ it was very small and I was able to keep it under my desk.

I would also recommend getting the lock~
I got a new macbook last year and i was afraid of people stealing it as well. The lock put me at ease
