Hey guys,

I'm not a first year, but I thought I might as well post in the first year folder because it might pertain to any artistic first years.

For those non-studio art majors, where do you guys paint? Rez is too small and I'm afraid to get paint everywhere. Outdoors is a hassle (and too windy - last time I painted outside my canvas fell on me =_=;; ). Is the art studios in Togo Salmon Hall open for anyone to use? or is there like a club or something that I can join?

There's a free life drawing class Monday evenings in TSH. It starts 1 or 2 weeks into the semester, and they usually post a notice about dates and times on the main floor of the building.
There's also an art club. You can see their info in the club directory on the MSU's site.
If you want to just paint by yourself, there's usually floor space on the upper floors of MUSC.

The life drawing classes sound so great! Definitely going to look out for that Who runs it (like what club or is it run by a faculty)?

this is so great! i am a first year and im not in studio art, so i've been wondering the same thing.

Does anyone know where the most recent life drawing classes are being held? I know that they are tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. I saw an ad in TSH but can't remember where they're being held; thanks!!
