How can you do well in your paper? I need tips. Like editing, who would you ask for help, friends,TA..?

Definitely talk to your TA, and if you're in an English class, there should be a Super TA who is there to help any student. They are phd students and are very helpful. Also, you can go to CSD (basement of MUSC) and they have tutors there that can help you. There are often classes held that will help you with thesis/essay writing; there was one last week. The English department can tell you when the next one is.
