Just a heads up, last year on one of the nights which was at Taphouse and the special was supposed to be $3.50 Bud Light Limes all night, none of the bartenders had heard of this special, and no beers were cheaper than $6.50. So someone lied about that special that night.

Did anyone experience this during other nights? There were "deal" drinks listed on almost everynight at different venues.

Had the same issue last year with the drink prices..make sure u check the fine print or inquire with the bar before..

Yea like thats the reason we chose Taphouse over the other option that night, because we wanted to party on Bud Light Lime all night! and I felt like I was fooled!!

Does someone just make up all those prices on the event list? Just for fun?

We are aware of this issue and addressed the question/issue publically last year. Unfortunately Volv does extension checks and paperwork to try and ensure this never happens (which if you look every other day of the week we did there had not been any issues). That being said there are the rare circumstances where the error could happen and this was one of them (management had transitioned to a new person from headoffice and they were seemingly passed all information but the BLL special).

This issue has also been addressed by offering an all week long and all night long drink special that remains the same regardless of venue for Partygras2012 ($5.25 Jager Boms and $4 Molson Canadians all night). We always recommend double checking just in case (we usually try to as well amidst the setup and event management). If you ever experience a problem be sure to tell a Volv staff on-site (there are many of us all wearing Volv shirts) and someone will be on top of it right away.
