PDF Manager for Windows
A couple days ago my friend showed me a mac app called Papers that manages pdfs. Its like an iTunes library for pdfs.
Anyways, I'm on a PC so I can't use Papers, so I was wondering if anyone was aware of any good PC applications that can organize pdfs well.

I need something that will organize my pdfs similar to how itunes does it for music.
I want to be able to create 'playlists' and also organize pdfs by date, and author.

Most profs I know use EndNote but that costs money, this is the best alternative I could find that handles PDFs for free

I use Mendeley to keep track of my bibliographies. I think it's a lot easier to use that JabRef (although I've never actually used it). If you don't plan on doing research in the future then you probably don't care which one you use though. By research I mean things like a thesis, lab course, maybe even courses with labs (although I don't think you'd have to do that intense of research/citations).
