Pets
Hey, I was just wondering if you were allowed any types of pets in residence.

I kind of wanted a pet fish to make it feel more homely.

Thanks in advance.

I remember when I was in first year, one of the floors in my building put a pet fish in their common room...so based on that, I'm going to say that a fish is fine. If it's something furry that could smell/cause allergies etc, it might be a problem, but a fish should be okay. You can always double-check with your CA when you move in, though

I want a dog. Only 3 more years and I'm going to get a golden retriever.

I'm a CA, so it's probably not a good example "Stop making so much noise guys and please ignore my illegal animal."

homely means unattractive... to answer your question, i think anything other than fish is not allowed.

Pet cactuses such as the one named Tim are allowed though.

Depends on what English you're using...in American English, it 'suggests absence of natural beauty', but in British English the meaning is closer to what the OP probably meant--simple but comfortable.

Haha, you're totally right. I never really thought of my choice of words. I guess I meant to say homey.

I had a pet fish in my first year, and my CA came into my room and saw it a couple of times. I am pretty sure fish are allowed
