Hi!
I took Philosophy in Grade 12, and i read the review for PHILOS 1E03 .... it seems to review much of the material we did before (metaphysics).

But, with the readings and assignments, it seems not REALLY bad, but some people say it's extremely hard, and i dont know if they took grade 12 philosophy or not ....

Has anyone taken it that's taken Grade 12 Philosophy? Any input?

Yeah, I did Grade 12 Philosophy and 1E03, and I found it to be pretty easy.

The material was all stuff I was familiar with, although that was partially because I had done a fair amount of outside reading in philosophy before taking the course. Even in high school Calc and Chem you'll get people who are at different levels because their school's prepared them differently; in courses like Philosophy there's generally even more of a divide. Not everyone will be at the same level.

That said, I've met a lot of people who didn't take Grade 12 Philosophy who still found it extremely easy, and a lot of people who found it hard. It really comes down to essay writing skills more than anything.

I will have that course in second term as well!
