Phone company with good coverage in Hamilton?
What's a good phone provider for Hamilton? I'm with Wind and have zero bars at my house, calls drop in seconds. And outside on campus the reception is very spotty too, as well as zero bars in any campus building. I looked at the Wind coverage map and it says I'm in a covered zone, which is why I'm asking here instead of just looking at coverage maps for other companies.

The phone companies that seem to be the most friendly towards students needs are Fido (which runs on Rogers' network), Koodo (which runs on Telus' network) and Virgin(which run on Bell's network). They all offer canada wide calling which is good if you constantly move back and forth between cities. Also, they are better for a single person because I think the other big companies (bell, Rogers, telus) are more beneficial if you have multiple family members/people sharing the plans (though I'm not sure of this).

Personally, I am on Virgin mobile which has really great service for me and I commute back and forth between toronto and hamilton. But, i wouldn't recommend it right now cause all of their plans are really crappy right now (I got a limited time special deal last year 39 dollars a month 400 mb of data 400 mins unlim eve weekends and txt mssg and voicemail ). I've heard the other two (koodo and fido) are just as good in terms of service. I actually am thinking myself of switching to fido when iphone 6 comes out because right now the plans on virgin all suck and I think i need more data :/.
