I had him for physics 1B03...super-nice person, willing to help, does good demonstrations in class. It depends how you learn--I found I learned really well from him in lecture, and never opened my textbook, but then, I'm not really a textbook learner in the first place. My friend found she didn't learn well from him and preferred the textbook, but she's more of a textbook learner in general.
