Never heard of one. But theres lots of used copies floating around campus.

was the text for this course necessary/useful?... jus wondering because i found the 1l03 book a waste of money

If you can learn or are good at physics, then it'll most likely be useless. The only thing it was good for was practice questions which I highly suggest you do. So borrowing from the library or a friend is better than buying the book in my opinion.
