physics 1B03 exam how did you do?
So how did u guys find the exam?
I want to know because I did really bad and I'm nervous about my final mark
Did everyone else find it difficult?

i found it hard too :(
i hope i pass!
2 hours is not enough. many people taking this course are not physics-pros. i feel that the profs expect the students to be pros when they come in to write midterms and exams; when most students can't be. they should give us 3 hours.

Guessing game
I guessed 6 questions... and I wasn't very sure on many of the conceptual questions either. At this point I hope I passed XD.

Yeah, I completely guessed a bunch of them because I was running out of time... That definitely shouldn't have been a two hour exam. Three hours would have been okay, I think.
I'm just glad it's over. Multiple choice questions suck.

I agree. There was not enough time. I also guessed for a bunch of answers. Even though I did well in both midterms, I think I might have just barely passed this exam.

Don't worry, it was like this last year too. I took it Term 2 and...yeah, 2 hours was barely sufficient.

My mental thoughts during every question
read question-midway through question panic about not having enough time for next question- blank out for current question, put off current question for later, never come back to that question due to lack of time, guess for that question during last five minutes.
now multiply that by 30

I actually didn't find it too bad compared to the midterms. I still don't think I did well, but I messed up the midterms pretty bad. I found that the exam was more concept-based than usual, which I prefer, since that's the way my high school teacher taught us.

Yup there are practise exams and midterms posted up on the course website, but they are generally easier than the actual exam and midterm

Exam wasn't too bad...there were a few really difficult questions but I think it was more or less fair. On another note, Yavin was hands down the best prof I've ever had at Mac, period.
