Physics 1B03 textbook: 1st edition vs. 2nd
Is there a significant difference between the two? I would much rather save myself 60-100 bucks and get the 1st version, but if there's advantage to getting the 2nd then I'd buy it.

While we're on the topic, anyone trying to get rid of either one of them? I'd love you forever if you threw in some notes and whatnot, too.

There's a little bit of a difference but the prof will generally give you the assigned hmwk problems from both editions anyways so as far as you're concerned for 1b03 there's no difference at all except that chapters are in different orders.

However, wait until the first day of classes to ensure that your prof does actually let you use the 1st ed, some profs may not but I know Dr. Nejat always gives readings from both editions. I've got the book (1st ed), PM me and we can arrange something if you want!

I used the 1st edition book last semester and I was fine. I had Prof. Hughes and I just asked her for a 1st ed. reading list and it worked out.
