Hello
I have been seeing threads of people talking about picking courses
I am gona be first year next year when Can I start picking courses??

Nahhh, you usually pick courses near the end of July or midway through or something. You'll receive confirmation in the mail and it will tell you. McMaster isn't trying to shaft it's students by making them guess.

For now, go to registrar.mcmaster.ca --> registered students --> undergraduate calendar --> 2011/2012 --> course listing

Then you can see potential courses for yourself and choose them before SOLAR opens. You want to get in there quickly because they fill up fast.

Those ppl who were talking about choosing courses were probably talking about going through the calendar and actually choosing the ones they want. But there's no way they've already selected online.

Just a correction, course selection is at the end of June not July. See Mepper's post above for the exact schedule based on your program. Also, you should keep up with the info on your own, not a lot of things come in the mail after your acceptance, it's mostly email. So definitely use your resources and figure everything out beforehand!
