picking a second year program
hey everyone... so Im kinda new at this forum stuff so ill just get straight to the point...

Im trying to get into the materials engineering stream but when i try to pick my courses/program for 2nd year i get a message on solar saying " i dont have the prerequisites for the selected course." When i go to check my current program it still says im enrolled in engineering I when actually i have a decision pending for materials engineering on my grade report.

How do I select 2nd year materials eng as my program? Please help!

If you already selected Eng I at the beginning of SOLAR, you'll have to talk to an academic advisor to place you into 2nd year materials eng.

If it says pending for materials, then you can't pick your courses yet...are you taking summer school this term ? If so, then you have to complete (and pass) them, and then you can pick your courses in August.
If you already took summer school last term, then the marks probably didn't get updated on mugsi (grade report) or you have to wait a couple of weeks and then pick your courses.

Also, you don't pick your program, you only select your courses once you get accepted into the program.
If you are still concerned talk to Sally Williams.

Your GPA is only reviewed after you've completed a certain number of units since the last one. You might not have completed enough for it to be reviewed.
