Don't expect much from futureshop... I know enough about touchscreens to know that the screen needs to be replaced on mine (under warranty) so I took it in, the guy agreed with my theory, sent it in to the depot... 3 weeks now. I get a call to pickup on Friday, I go in, and the guy says "Says here, they couldn't duplicate the error." I went nuts on the spot, opened it up, tried to show him myself... I couldn't duplicate it either. Why? BECAUSE THEY JUST DISABLED THE TOUCHSCREEN HARDWARE! Absolute retards.

Futureshop's solution to your problem: Disable the hardware that's causing the problem. Anyways, it's going back to the dealer and if they aren't done in a total of 60 days (including the past 3 weeks) I get a new laptop on their bill.

Sometimes UTS will solve your problems though.

Well what do you mean by acting up?

If it is not a hardware issue, im sure someone on macinsiders itself could help you solve it.

A lot of my friends simple bring their computers to me when something is wrong with it. But if you dont trust a random person to do it i think a good place to go fix it is somewhere like CanadaComputers

Ah I see. Tell him that he's actually supposed to press the buttons over and over again on the keyboard.

If he wants to bring it in for service, he's gonna want to take it to a place authorized to work on his brand of computer. So a brand would help.
