Does commerce have smaller class sizes? That might be why tution is more expensive.
Life sci kids should be paying more (relatively) due to use of lab materials, space etc, but it's made up by the fact that our class sizes are ridiculous. Even in third year bio, I haven't had a lecture that's not in one of the major halls.
STOP ACCEPTING SO MANY LIFE SCI STUDENTS, MAC! Geez.

It's by faculty. My program has 14 people in my year (going into 4th year). We have super small classes--none of mine in 3rd year were in big lecture halls, they were all in rooms that are probably more frequently used for tutorials. We have fairly intensive/expensive labs (which is a main reason for why they try to not have more than 30 kids in the program). However, we pay the same tuition as someone in life sci who has no labs, is in classes with >100 kids, because we're all part of the science faculty.

Don't tell me you still have classes in MDCL 1305 :O. I'm so glad I don't have ANY in there this year. I practically lived there all of last year.

...4 more lectures in 1305 this year for me -____-
I'm glad we have physio in ABB though, I like that room. Only place on campus with decent lighting.

I know, my thoughts exactly. I'm hoping that if it does happen it will be like the airline strike and they will be forced back to work, considering so many people rely on the GO everyday to get to and from school or work.
