Dear MacInsiders,

I'm a first year student and I am currently looking for a substitue course due to a conflict. I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything at all about Health Studies 1A03? I am unsure of the difficulty of the material, as well as the temperments of the professor. Some have told me that this is a rather easy elective, but others disagree, saying that it's too time consuming.

As long as you keep up with the readings (which really are quite interesting on their own) and don't slack on studying, it's very easy to get a good mark. Most of the people who took it and say it was hard probably didn't study for the tests because they were really straightforward. I can tell you for sure that I took it as an 'easy elective' and now I'm choosing it for my major - good luck!
