Political Science In Summer School?
Hey! I was wondering does anyone know if Political Science 1g06 is offered in summer school even though it's a 6 unit course? Also, is it still possible to drop/pick new courses...or is it to late :( ?

Not sure about your first question, but for your second question: SOLAR re-opens on August 13th at 8:30AM. You can add/drop/modify all your courses until the drop/add deadline (Sept 21 for term 1 and term 3 courses, Jan 13 for term 2 courses)

so is it safe to drop two courses during the normal school year and take political science in summer school? I need to be 100% sure it's offered in summer school, because if not I will be lacking credits :|

Well I don't think anyone can guarantee that it will be offered, knowing Mac, but I'd say there's a very very high chance that it will be for next summer. Just keep in mind that credits in the summer months will not necessarily give you a full course load (in case you're planning on applying to some professional program).

What exactly do you mean? My plan is to double major in psychology and political science and then after I plan to attend law or med school. Will this affect my future plan in any way?

Well since you're planning on double majoring in psych & Poli Sci I'd assume you're going to take full course load during the year (10 courses) on top of summer courses so it wouldn't affect you. I don't know for Law, but for some Med school (it varies) they will require the year you want to use your GPA for calculation to be a full one.

You won't be accepted into a Poli Sci program without taking it in Year I. It seems that taking summer school won't change your degree path for the following year.
If anything you're better off removing two elective courses if you're not going to take a full course load.
