Since my current printer is a huge AIO Canon I think I'll go for an inexpensive small laser printer. Which one of these would be ideal for residence?

I personally bought the first one you've listed there and it works very well (though I actually dont know a laser printer that doesn't work well)...It seems decently small for a laser printer anyways, though you will deffinately find ink-jets that take up less space.

Ink Jets usually always take up less space. All it needs is a little track where the 2 tiny cartridges slide to print on paper, as well as a space big enough to fit a piece of paper. Laser printers however have to hold a not so small toner cartridge full of black powder that gets stuck everywhere Lol. Sometimes replacing the cartridge can be a mess if not done correctly
