Can someone tell me about her and her teaching style? She doesn't have too many good reviews (but I don't want to take those for 100%). I'm talking about the HLTH AGE 1BB3 EVE C01.

I took her Winter 2013 and she is just horrid. The boringest most serious professor I've had. The other prof who teaches during day Joshi I think taught our class one evening with her slides and it was so much more interesting. Gish made me dread going to class. Don't get me wrong I didn't do badly in the course but I didn't do good either I got a B. Gish speaks fine like no accent Or anything and you can hear her properly it's just the way she expresses the material that makes me wanna close my ears. I'm pretty sure also that the day class with Joshi did much better on average than the evening class with Gish. I would suggest that if you wanted to take 1bb3 take it with Joshi and avoid Gish or else you'll hate the material.

I would def not say horrid! It depends what class you take. She always knows her stuff and she is a great lecturer if she is into the content. Gish has some of the best courses I have taken at McMaster - I highly recommend HLTH AGE 3L03.
