I'm involved with the @Ontario Autism Assistance Program, (which has its own Mac chapter - McMaster's Autism Assistance Program or MAAP). This organization provides volunteer-based ABA therapy services at a subsidized cost to families with children with autism in the Hamilton area. The OAAP has entered the Aviva Community Fund competition to compete with other NGOs for funding. This funding will go towards opening a center for the OAAP to allow rural low-income families to access therapy services. In order to be considered for funding, we need as many votes as we can gather.
