psych 1x03 handbook
I know getting the 1xo3 handbook is required for the class but
is it actually "require" in the class?
I have a feeling that I'm never going to open it after I buy the handbook
so my question is how important is the handbook? do I really need one?

Yeah, I don't remember ever using that thing, so my initial answer is "no"...
Then again, stuff changes in 2 years... Back then we had a core *and* a tutorial =/

Don't buy it. All it really has are pictures of some of the online slides with very little space for you to take notes. I took detailed notes on paper, so it was useless to me. It does have a couple of introductory articles written by Dr. Kim which aren't really all that important and you can probably read them from a friend's handbook. It also has some exercise/questions, which are fairly easy. I never really used mine last year for 1X03. I didn't end up buying the handbook for 1XX3, having learned my lesson, and did just fine in the course.

put it this way, if your good at taking notes or plan on following your own format when taking notes then the hanfbook isnt really neccessay, i used it at start then got annoyed of it and just took my own notes and i got a pretty good mark so im going to say its not really needed.
