Psych 1x03 Summer School
How is Psychology 1X03 structured during summer school? Is it the same as during the semester (no live lectures, only online modules and tutorials, participation worth 10%, top 10/14 quizzes worth 40%, final exam 50%?

It says Mondays and Wednesdays 930-1120am, what would be done during these times?

Thanks in advance, likes and thank yous all around

The scheduled time is a lecture, which is essentially a summary of the online modules, you can ask questions and get clarification. Basicaly it exists for you not to slack, and justifies the course fee, other than just selling you access to watch the videos

Everything else sounds the same. Assuming by 'participation' you mean the psych experiements.

I took Psych 1X03 last summer and it is quite different. When I took it, there was live lectures, online modules, weekly quizzes and assignments, a midterm and final exam.

The time indicated on your post, during that time, it is a review of the online modules that is done before hand. The prof usually elaborates more on the course content about the online modules but it is basically the same as the online modules.

Evaluations: Psych 1X03 Spring 2011
AVENUE Quizzes 15%
Assignments 15%
Midterm Examination 30%
Final Examination 40%
Research participation (optional) 5%

You had to find an article, read it, answer some questions (sort-of a quiz on avenue), if I recall correctly... i think there was more than one but I'm not sure

During the semester we had to read 4 journals for quizzes, so I guess they make these readings more heavily weighted and count as assignments? Thats what its sounding like. If so, great lol
