Psych 1X03 vs English 1A03
Which is the easier course?

It depends on your skills and what you would prefer to do the most. If you like to read and write essays then I suggest you should go with English 1A03 but if you like to learn terms and think critically with some science and do well with multiple choice questions then I would choose Psych 1X03. It all depends on what you're best at.

When I took it, it consisted of doing online quizzes, assignments, a midterm and the exam but they could've changed since then. If you're not as good in essay writing then I wouldn't suggest taking English 1A03 because they mark a lot more harder than other courses I've seen.

They were pretty short from what I remember but it could have changed since then.

wow you are bashing MI down with new threads eh. I took psych just this year, and the workload is pretty heavy. It consists of weekly quizzes and tutorials, and just 1 final exam. <- sounds too light? Start reading the textbook and studying for the quizzes....and taking notes from the stupid online lectures...and you will know what i mean  |

I tried searching for the textbook Discover Psychology, Volume 1 on Amazon, but couldn't find it. Is it not a famous book? |

should I sell it to you?
The reason why its not famous is because the proff who teaches the course wrote it himself last year. Has tons of spelling and grammatical errors which is funny. |

I managed to get the same mark in both courses, but by far, psych was wayyy more interesting!

i found the quizzes in psych hard and same with the exam. very tough to do well on quizzes imo by yourself. i hated the course too and wish i went into enviro sci instead of life sci just so i didnt have to take it. hell, once i got here someone coulda told me i didnt need it anyways for first year life sci.

I didn't particularly like Psych, but thinking back it really wasn't that bad. Quizes can be annoying, tutorials are pretty straightforward. The exam was pretty easy. A lot of reading to do though.

I heard that psych1x03 quizzes are VERY confusing which is why people tend to do them in groups.
