about Psych 3F03
Hey guys,

Can somebody give some comment on Psych 3F03: Evolution and human behavior? Its not on the course review. The prof will be Martin Daly in 2010

Cheers

I loved the course. It was really interesting and I felt that his tests were fair (although it wasn't actually him teaching, but the tests were based on his tests from previous years. Same format and he wrote most of the questions).

He taught the first few classes and I LOVED his teaching style.

The course is kind of like Animal Behaviour (Psych 2TT3) but for humans. So it's really interesting because you understand how evolution shapes just about everything you do.

I believe we had 2 midterms and one exam. The exam was MUCH more difficult thatn either test and actually brought me down 2 full grades. It might be because it was a completely different format than the midterms and I think the prof who was teaching last year wrote more of the exam than Daly.

Overall, I recommend taking it. You can get an A if you study and pay attention in class. After going home, you'll realize that you've retained more information that you thought you did.
