I took this course in Fall of 2012.

Professor: Dr. DeCatanzaro. Very knowledgeable and has a subtle sense of dislike for nonscientific (i.e. religious) viewpoints which I found to be very humourous.

Marks:
25% Midterm
30% Midterm
10% In-class Assignment
35% Exam

The two midterms were straightforward (combination of T/F, SA and written), did better than I expected on both. In-class assignment was an analysis of 4 scientific articles (talk about some of the methods and how they contribute to what was learned in class). Exam was a lot more written marks than the midterms so know your stuff well, especially the more important topics that he stresses in class.

Overall, very interesting class that turned out to be more neuro based than I expected (for me, this was great as I was expecting some touchy-feely course on emotions). Read the book as it reinforces what he says exactly and study a few days before evaluations and you should be fine. 10+ should be easily attainable.
