Well.. this year we didn't exactly have a professor.
What the prof would do is post video lectures online for 2 weeks, we'd watch them and then go to 'lecture' to discuss it / take the optional quiz.
The prof doign the videos last year was Joe Kim.
http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/psychology/intropsych/ that's the intropsych website.
hope that helps!

We also had tutorials with the same TA and we would receive our assignment in those tutorials.

I was wondering about this too. However, this thread sort of confuses me. Did you guys have both a lecture period (after the 2 or so weeks of online lectures) AND a tutorial?

There was a lecture AND tutorial every week. Every week a new online lecture it posted, but it stays up for 2 weeks.

Lecture posted every week. Review class (core) with TA. Tutorial with TA. You pick a core and then one of the two tutorials for that core.
Well thats how it was last year anyway.

Last year, we had one hour of core (I hesitate to call it lecture because it really wasn't) and one hour of tutorial. Each week lectures were put up online. Going to the core was optional, and it consisted of an hour of review and clearing up any questions as well as an optional quiz. The tutorials were mandatory and consisted of supplementary activities to enhance learning. So I'm guessing they changed the curriculum this year?

Hmm, well is the course outline for this course posted yet? It will probably be clearly outlined (heh) there.
