And then I read about waivers.
I smack myself on the head and repress my inner sorrow.

Yeah, know what you mean. I had to go through seeing my first course full, and then failing prerequisites and having to call for a waiver. *sigh*
Atleast you finished early. I got booted once and had to repick all my courses, not to mention get my ass back on MUGSI and SOLAR.

Yeah. This is because the reserve most of the seats until that faculty gets to pick.

Yes, because the seats are closed for that faculty. They only open a certain amount if any for other faculties. Whatever is not chosen by the faculty the course belongs to can be taken by other faculties as long as they meet prerequisites.

Mommy when I grow up, I'm going to be rich. People are going to give me their money and I'm going to take my time helping them and create all these problems just so I can laugh at them. But I'll still be rich.
Really sweetie? How do you plan on doing that?
Mommy, I'm going to be a university.

LMAO! That's awesome. I'm sure a lot of frustrated people right now feel a little bit better. Thanks for that.

Mommy, I know my teachers said I'm incompetent and I'm never going to grow up to be anything in my life but I have a solution to change all that by just changing my name. When people hear about me, they'll think I'm cool and sophisticated and want to get to know me better even though I can't do anything.
That sounds amazing darling. What name is that?
SOLAR

Lol. SOLAR?! That's such a cool name! What do you do?
"Well I have two powers. The first is I become super slow when people try to access me. The second is I boot people off by telling them they have an error. Oh, I also randomly crash"

PS: Stay tuned for when students petition against me...and then I pull a Microsoft and change my name to LUNAR.
You'll be riveted.
And if you aren't, who the hell cares?
I'm not giving you your money back.

lol, if you think today was bad, wait until everyone can start changing their sections on August 13th. It'll be like 10000 students trying to get onto SOLAR at once (I didn't say all the students because I doubt everyone will try).

Lol, be sure it's not too beggy though. There's a difference between begging for a course and really wanting to get in.

Great.
I think I overbegged...
But Ijust...really really wanted it. I mean...I really want that course.
I couldn't imagine no more Biology.
(Math 1A03 just fits better and seems to be a course more my style but...Bio 1A03 is something I would trade a tooth for.)

Those are illegal by the way... so yeah. Plus you aren't guaranteed to get the seat. Someone may jump in randomly on SOLAR and take the course before you can.
