Question about Bates Double
Hi,
I'm going to be in a Bates 2-person next year, and was wondering whether anyone knows if moving a bed into the living room so that we each have our own room is an option. Also, does anyone know if the rooms are slightly larger than the standard Bates rooms since there's supposed to be two of us in one room?
Thanks,
Ben

I know that you are allowed to move furniture around as long as it gets moved back when you move out again.

i know someone that moved their bed lik eyou said to the living room so each person had their own room. it is definately okie as long as its moved back at the end of the year when you move out. I would think the rooms are bigger than the standard bates rooms. the bates rooms aren't that big to fit two beds for two people. i haven't seen one, but i think it would just be similar to a regular double room, maybe smaller and then you have your living room and kitchen. hope that helps.

I have seen one and yes, they are definitely bigger than a regular bates apartment.
That's a really good idea about splitting up the rooms so that you both have more privacy.. You won't have a living room area that you'll both share in your apartment but you'll have huge rooms compared to others that live in the same rez as you.
There are common rooms and games rooms in the basement that are open to the entire building so you can always get your fix for a living room space there =)
