These cutoffs are for the people who applied during the 2009-2010 year. They change from year to year but generally should remain in a fairly close range.

Biochemistry Level II Cutoffs

Honours Biochemistry (No Specialization)
Program Size: 60-65
Estimated Cut-off: 8.0

Honours Biochemistry (Biomedical Sciences Specialization)
Program Size: Max 40
Estimated Cutoff: 8.0

Honours Biochemistry (Biotechnology Specialization)
Program Size: Max 25
Estimated Cutoff: 8.0

...4:32 am...I gotta stop playing SC

For the 2010-2011 session
The cut off for Biochemistry core was also an 8 and the specializations(Biome d and Biotech) were 8.5.
Keep in mind that the cut off gpa are not always the same every year!
Hope this helps

Yes, cutoff GPA's are entirely contingent on the application pool. Just try to keep your average as high as possible for the best competitive edge
