I recently had Comp Sci 1Ta3 with Nakamura this semester. Both of the midterms had a ridiculously low average (high 50s-low60s) with almost half the class failing both. I was just wondering, from someone who has taken the course in the past with Nakamura, does he adjust marks?

Ah don't worry. Most CS courses always get bumped up like crazy.

Did you ever have Nakamura? I heard he likes to keep grades low.

In general, no.

The only time he bumps marks is, for example, if you are sitting at a 78/79% he will bump you up to an 80% (provided you attended >90% of the tutorials).

Damn. So he will actually keep the class average this low? Aren't profs supposed to keep the class average at a certain minimum?

I think if a class average falls below 62shh they will bump people up.
