Question about ECON 1B03 textbook.
The bookstore is selling the 5th edition. Did they just change to this edition or was this edition used in previous years too? A lot of people seem to be selling the 4th edition. I always buy the textbook (even when people tell me its useless, which i hear about 1b03 a lot), but if no one is going to have a used version of the latest edition, i'd rather buy the edition prior for a much cheaper price.

I think they just changed to it because this person I know who took it during the 2010-2011 school year needed the 4th edition. Damn whoever is the reason for the change, nooo.

It doesn't matter which edition you have, you don't get specific readings. So you just have to find which chapter corresponds to the information you are learning and read that if you want.

Fair enough, why change the edition though? :o New or revised information or something? Do you suggest just buying a used 4th edition and not buying a new 5th edition? :o

They change editions all the time so that you buy a new textbook instead of a used one, that way they make money. Pretty ****ing sneaky if you ask me.

IMO it would be wise to buy the fourth edition primarily because of the fact that Holmes, which is the professor that teaches the course, likes to put every detail on the slides and she tests from this only. So it would be a waste buying a new edition when you can be better off using the old edition.

I have the third edition. I got it off someone else and never opened it. Anyone want it? I gave up trying to sell it a long time ago. I only ask that you buy me a willy dog when I give you the book.

No, it's when my right hand comes in physical contact with your right hand and we go up and down together until we want to relieve each other of our duty.
