Any reasonable person knows these two points are very much a reality.
Does being in Health Sci give a distinct advantage for professional schools? No doubt, but you can get into professional schools from any program, it`s a realistic feat.

1 is bs, sorry. 90% is highschool is a joke in some places and incredibly difficult in others. It means nothing. Having a good supp just mean either a) good liar/writer b) did a lot of stuff for reals c) knows the right people. as oyu can see, nothing of this has much to do with intelligence (after all, Humanities students, the "stupid" faculty, has most of the best writers)
**Humanities people are not stupid, but they aren't particularity smart either. Just making a point that a) has no relationship to intelligence.
