Like everyone else I'm really nervous about using SOLAR. I just have a quick question that I'm not sure has been answered yet. I hear a lot of the times that it's best to pick electives first. From my understanding, when you verify courses, you verify after you have picked everything.

So how do you pick electives first? Is it a matter of verifying the course selection partway through? Or is it that when you u select courses before verifying, you are taking up a seat in the class already?

I believe that when you select the course, it takes up a spot even before verifying. I could be wrong, but that's what I always thought.
