Questions about a couple of courses: Econ, History, Indig St
Has anyone taken one of the following courses? I'd love some feedback on them in terms of content, profs, difficulty level. I'm looking for electives

Econ 3Z03: Health Econ
History 3SA3: South Asia
History 2HH3: Meditteranean Encounters 1500-1800
Indigenous St 1aa3

Thanks!
P.S. I've never taken History or Indig St in uni, but I've taken Econ 1b03 & 1bb3.

Hayden King (the Indigenous Studies 1AA3 prof) is amazing. I've had him for upper-year courses only though. I'm going to be taking 1A03 in first term.

The courses I took with him appeared to be developed from what was learned in the introductory classes, although I'm not exactly sure what I missed by not taking them. But I did well in his classes (2B03 and 2D03) so I won't complain.

Are those History courses open ones? Cause if you've never taken a first year history course I don't think you can take a 2nd or 3rd year History. You should double check that on the Undergrad Calendar and check out our Course Reviews section as well!

Hey!

They are open....there are some open ones that you can take without the 1st year History classes.

I checked the Course Reviews but I didn't find these courses...I'm guessing the History ones probably alternate through the years so people here haven't had a chance to take them :(.

Thanks anyways though!
