Questions about my timetable
I was just wondering how two different cores can be at the same time, with the same instructor, but in different classes? For example, PSYCH 1X03 C02 and C03 are both on Monday, both start at 9:30 and end at 10:20, and both have KIM J as the instructor, but are in rooms BSB/B205 and BSB/B206 respectively. What does this mean? Also, C01 has the same instructors and time as well, but the location is PC/237? Could someone please tell me what these mean?
I was also wondering why my timetable has CHEM 1A03 L67 from 2:30 to 5:20, but also has CHEM 1A03 T67 at 3:30-4:20? Both have EOW, so does this mean that they alternate on different weeks from each other, or is this some sort of mistake? Also, is there any special reason why they both have "67" for the lab and tutorial? Am I required to pair these up with the same number?
Thanks for the help.

For psych, the cores are like tutorials and aren't led by the prof, they're led by TA's. Lectures are online.
There's no mistake with your chem, it's fine. And yes, your tutorial and lab numbers have to match (for that course).
All of this will be explained in the first classes, relax.

For Psych though everything is listed as Cores, you'll be having Tutorials. Dr. Kim is the Prof. of this course, however you'll be having the tutorial with a TA (a student from upper year) in the respective room in which the tutorial (core) is assigned. Tutorials for Psych are basically review lectures of materials for the respective weeks & a time for discussion with classmates in your tutorial. As for the lecture material - That will be posted on avenue by Dr. Kim, which you will view at the leisure of your own time.
And yes, for Chem 1A03/1AA3 the Labs & Tuts alternate (so you have a lab one week & a tut the next week & back to the lab the following week). Yes, they should be paired up with the same number.

So I'm assuming there's a different TA in each class? Also, do you guys think I should generally avoid these PC courses?
Thanks for the quick responses

Yep. Different TAs in each class. And PC/BSB are the buildings with their assigned rooms, where the Tuts. will be taking place. PC is the Psychology Building & BSB is the main Sciences Building. They're both good.

Sorry for another question, but my KIN course (1Y03) has three different tutorials (for example: T04, T05, T06) all at the same time and in the same location. Could you explain to me what this means?

KIN Tuts. are quizzes that you will be having every week. Several Tuts. are grouped together in a computer lab, so that those students all write together. It's best to choose one that's later in the day, so you have time before writing the quiz.

Thanks for the answer, but I also have another question:
Is it important to have labs and tutorials after you have your cores? For example, can I have my lab on Monday, tutorial on Tuesday, and then core on Friday? I noticed my Kin has a lab earlier than my cores. Is this okay?

Last year, I had my kin lab before my core and it doesn't really matter since the lab material and lecture material were never on the same page (the lecture material was one week behind the lab material)....that was for last year though.
