marks are up to you. For some people it's easy, for most though it is difficult. It's the same at every university.

Ratio? grow up.
But if you really want to know:
Waterloo does NOT have 2 guys for every girl. Maybe in their Eng and Math program its 2 guys to 1 girl, but they have other faculties and programs too.

For Mac, I'd say at least 2 girls to one guy overall.
Also Kin generally has the hottest girls (in my opinion).

I think it'd be difficult to judge "how hard" it is to get an 85%. First of all there are varying degrees of difficulty in each course, so based on your course combination it could be easier or harder, and even then, difficulty level is subjective depending on your own strengths and weaknesses. That's why you should try to choose courses that interest you or that you're good at.

And I think Mac's ratio is roughly 50:50 like many universities (?).

Read Maclean's university rankings for info about girl:guy ratio. And the question about 85% is terrible, but generally speaking, you get what you put in.

Waterloo hardly has other programs worth mentioning. Most of the people there are in Engineering or Math/Physics. I heard you can get into life sciences with a 60% average out of high school there, considering pretty much no one applies to it.

And if you think the Waterloo gender ratio is not 2:1 or even 3:1, well, you clearly haven't visited Waterloo before

The nerd ratio is also approximately infinity:1 from what I've heard.

I think the average is closer to.. 60 females:40 males these days. But then again, what would i know.. my classes average more like... 90 females:10 males. Its pretty different across all faculties/programs.

Ya, but you're in Nursing. I think that program is quite unique in terms of the gender ratio as compared with others.

One thing for sure is that in some of my Engineering classes (math for example) all the females in the class could be counted on two hands.

Be very careful not to believe everything you hear from people, especially a statistic like this which is clearly not true.

Well, it was indeed true this year. I think that's because it was a new program this year, and pretty much no one knew about it. Anyone who applied got in.

Life sciences? I don't think that's a new program. I applied to it back in 2006.
