I was wondering how your GPA gets recaluclated once you retake a course?
Do the credits get added to the number of credits you already had or just an average of your two marks(after you completed that course again) comes into play?

For your GPA it's added to the number of credits you already have (Like if you took a totally different course).

oh ok so if I had 37 units for the entire year, now the new Gpa will be outta 40 units(considering the course I repeated to be worth 3 units)?
